RECYCLED COTTON CORD

Using four colours, each hand braided then braided together. Tassel ends.

Cotton cord, multi coloured

Using recycled cotton and a combination of plaits, tassel ends and attached charms.

Braided recycled cotton cord

Using a braided cord that is thicker and holds the structure of a Celtic plait or knot. End caps an optional extra.

Wool fibres, ribbons etc

Ribbons can give you brighter pops of colour, or for a softer look a natural mix of wool fibres and cottons. Simple plait combinations and charms added.

A celebrant led ceremony is increasingly popular, and I have the pleasure of knowing many Celebrants across the South West!

Having produced Handfasting Cords for a couple of photoshoots I became fascinated with this traditional ceremony, and the symbolism of the handfasting cord then kept by the couple to remind them of their ceremony and vows.

Perfect for any size of ceremony and a lovely keepsake.

I can offer a choice of colours, designs and materials for your cord, but I am open to other suggestions and this could include cords or materials that have meaning for you as a couple.

I offer custom made Handfasting Cords for the price of £10 per colour/cord plus postage and packing. I use recycled cotton cords (and recycled packaging when possible), and my usual style is hand braided cords then braided into one cord. See photo 1
